Description
Kona Coffee is grown on the slopes of Hualalai and Mauna Loa, on the island of Hawaii along the Kona Coffee Belt. The mountain slopes, with sunny mornings, cloudy or rainy afternoons and cool evening winds create a favorable growing condition for coffee.
For your enjoyment, the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival now offers 100% Kona Coffee under its own label, farmed, milled and brewed right here in Kona.
Peaberry, which is less acidic, beans are smaller (shaped like a pea thus the name), and only 2-4% of a tree will produce these beans. Peaberry beans are present in the very outer branches of a tree.
